CM inaugurates Prati Ghare Sushason Mela, lays foundation stone of PHC at Old Agartala

Agartala, Dec 14 (FD) Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha inaugurated Prati Ghare Sushason Mela and laid foundation stone of a Primary Health Centre at Old Agartala on Wednesday. He also took part in a Swacch Bharat Abhiyan there.
He was accompanied by Tripura Assembly Speaker Ratan Chakraborty, Jail and Fire Minister Ram Prasad Paul, Information and Cultural Affairs Minister Sushanta Chowdhury, Zilla Sabhadhipati Antara Sarkar Deb, AMC Mayor Dipak Majumder, West District Magistrate Debapriya Bardhan and other officials.
Addressing the Prati Ghare Sushason Mela, Dr. Saha said that the state government is working in line with the development policy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
"Prime Minister Narendra Modi always talks about development, our government is also working for development and keeps an eye on ensuring that the benefits of all State or Central Government schemes reach the last person in the State," he said.
Talking about the benefits of the Prati Ghare Sushason Mela, the Chief Minister said that the intention of this fair is to bring all central and state government schemes to the beneficiaries of the schemes.
He highlighted several developmental initiatives under taken by the government and said his government is working in transparent manner to implement those.
The guests distributed benefits of the schemes of various departments during the programme.
Later he inspected the progress of various developmental works in East Agartala.
Dr Saha said, he was informed about the progress of construction of stalls for SHGs for urban haat and fair purposes. The plan taken for overall beautification here is truly commendable, he added. FD PD JK
