CM Inaugurates, Lays Foundation for ₹178-Crore Development Projects in South Tripura

Agartala, July 31 (FD) Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha on Friday inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for multiple development projects worth ₹178 crore in South Tripura district, reaffirming the state government's commitment to infrastructure-led growth and public welfare.
The projects cover key sectors, including education, healthcare, road infrastructure and tribal welfare, and are aimed at strengthening public services while accelerating the district's overall development.
Addressing the programme, the Chief Minister said the initiatives reflect the government's commitment to fulfilling the long-standing aspirations of the people and creating robust infrastructure across the district.
Saha said development remains the government's highest priority, adding that projects worth around ₹406 crore have either been inaugurated or had their foundation stones laid in South Tripura over the past two years.
He expressed confidence that the new projects would significantly boost the district's socio-economic development and improve the quality of life of its residents. FD JK
