CM Dr. Saha Demands Transparency in Smart City Project Execution

Agartala, Feb 13 (FD) Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha chaired a high-level review meeting today at the Tripura Institute of Transformation to monitor the progress of Agartala Smart City projects.
During the session, the Chief Minister issued a stern directive: all development work must be executed with absolute transparency and completed within the stipulated deadlines.
Dr. Saha emphasized that construction activities should not impede the daily movement of citizens. "Public convenience must remain a priority while we transform the urban landscape," the CM stated. He took a detailed account of the door-to-door drinking water supply under the Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) and the status of various drainage construction projects aimed at improving the city's infrastructure.
A significant portion of the meeting focused on public utilities. Dr. Saha instructed officials to ensure that all Water ATMs across the city remain fully operational at all times. Urban Development Secretary Milind Ramteke provided a comprehensive update on 66 ongoing projects, including the Unity Mall, Smart Roads, and the Howrah Riverfront Development.
The meeting was attended by AMC Mayor Dipak Majumder, DM West Tripura Dr. Vishal Kumar, and other senior officials. FD SB
