Chirag Shetty & Satwiksairaj Rankireddy Reach Men’s Doubles Semifinals at India Open Badminton

In the India Open Badminton tournament, the Indian duo of Chirag Shetty and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy reached the men’s doubles semifinal. They defeated the South Korean duo of Jin Yong and Kang Min-hyuk 21-10, 21-17 in the men’s doubles quarterfinal at K. D. Jadhav Indoor Stadium in New Delhi tonight.

However, PV Sindhu lost to Gregoria Mariska Tunjung of Indonesia in the Women’s Singles Quarterfinals 9-21, 21-19, 17-21 this evening. Another Indian shuttler, Kiran George, also lost to Weng Hongyang of China 13-21, 19-21 in the men’s singles quarterfinal match.
