Chief Minister appreciates fast delivery system by HC

Agartala, Mar 27 (FD) Tripura chief minister Dr. Manik Saha appreciated the High Court for conducting fast justice delivery system and assured the state government’s support in any such innovative justice delivery system.
"Tripura High Court is positioned in the bright place in the country. As you have discussed about speedy disposal of cases, it should be continued. Delay in delivery of justice should not be done, or else, people face problem. People get relief with speedy justice delivery system," said Dr. Saha while addressing at the 9th annual judicial conclave conducted at Judicial Academy in Agartala on Sunday.
He said that National Law University and Judicial Academy have been launched amidst financial constraint of the state government. The state has also plan to construct a private law college.
"Common people want justice. If you(High Court) come up with any innovative ideas to give relief to people in the judicial system, the state government shall extend support to you," he said.
In reference to infrastructural development, Dr. Saha said the state government is committed to develop infrastructures and also requested the Chief Justice to fill in the posts lying vacant in sub-judiciary soon.
"Unless there is development of infrastructures, nothing is possible. Our government is committed to develop infrastructures. Besides, human resources are also required. Amidst financial crisis, National Law University, Judicial Academy has been launched. ," he said.
The CM recalled his days when he had to knock the door of court after he was demoted to assistant professor from associate professor in a private society run medical college here earlier and recounted how the judiciary served justice. FD JK
