Charred body found near Krishnanagar TRTC office; investigation underway

Agartala, Jan 27 (FD) A charred body of an unidentified person was picked up by fire service personnel from near the Krishnanagar TRTC office yesterday and admitted for treatment at G.B hospital here, but he died this morning.

When a team of Tripura police led by the Officer–in-charge of West Agartala police station started an inquiry, Suman Chakraborty, the Deputy Director of Forensic service also started giving them suggestions and helping in the investigation.

The incident has left the authorities and the local people in a state of shock as no clue of the incident is yet to reach.

The police are trying to find out clues from witnesses of from the footages of the surveillance cameras. FD JK
