Char Dham Yatra to begin tomorrow; Akashvani to do live broadcast of opening of Yatra

One of India’s most revered pilgrimages, the Char Dham Yatra in Uttarakhand, will begin tomorrow on the auspicious occasion of Akshay Tritiya. The Yatra will begin with the opening of the doors of the Gangotri and Yamunotri temples located in the Uttarkashi district. The portals of Kedarnath temple in Rudraprayag will open on 2nd May, while the doors of Badrinath Dham in Chamoli district will open on 4th May.
This year, the pilgrimage is anticipated to be more divine and grand, with the state government leaving no stone unturned to ensure comprehensive arrangements for the convenience of pilgrims. State Government has made elaborate arrangements with special focus on security, traffic management, crowd control, health and sanitation. A mock drill was also conducted to test the preparations. The Chardham Yatra attracts millions of devotees every year from across the country and abroad.
Akashvani will broadcast live the opening of Char Dham yatra 2025. The live broadcast of opening of Gangotri Dham will be available tomorrow from 10 am to 11 am, while live broadcasting of Yamountri Dham will be available from 11:30 to 12:30. The live broadcast of the opening of Kedarnath Dham will be available at 6 am on 2nd of May, while the live broadcast of opening of Badrinath Dham will be on 4th of next month from 6:30 to 7:30 AM. The live broadcast would be available on Akashwani’s Indraprastha, FM Gold and Aradhana channel as well as on newsonair app. A report related to the Yatra will also be broadcast every day from 7:30 PM to 7:45 PM from tomorrow till 4th of next month.
