Centre to help Tripura in setting indoor stadiums in all districts: Anurag Thakur

Agartala Jan 13(FD) Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting and Youth Affairs and Sports Anurag Singh Thakur on Friday said the central government will help setting up indoor stadiums in all eight districts of Tripura.
The Youth Affairs Minister while leaving the state after completion of a day’s visit said, “In order to develop the sports infrastructure in the state the central government will help the state government to set up indoor stadiums in all eight districts of the state.”
The Union Minister hailed the rule of Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha and Sports Minister Sushanta Chowdhury in developing sports infrastructure in the state.
Earlier addressing a proggrame on ‘YUBA SAMVAD-India @2047’ here, Thakur highlighted how youths can take part in every sector in making India forward and said the future of the country is dependent on the capacity of youths.
“The future of India is solely dependent on the capacity of youths who can shape a new future for the entire world,” he said. He also pointed out how youths can take part in every sector in making India forward.
He appealed to the youths of the country to contribute towards making India a better place to live in and work towards making the country a Vishwa Guru.
MoS Pratima Bhowmik, ICA Minister Sushanta Chowdhury, Director of YAS Subikash Debbarma, DM West Debapriya Bardhan, Padma Shree Awardee from Tripura Dipa Karmakar and others attended the programme.
