Central releases more fund under PMAY(G)

Agartala, March 20 (FD) The central government today sanctioned Rs 310.89 cr to Tripura under Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana (Gramin) for construction of houses for the people.

With the release of this installment the total receipt under the scheme rose to to Rs.1264.19 crore.

Chief Minister, Manik Saha in a facebook post said, “Happy to share that GoI has sanctioned Rs 310.89 cr today to Tripura under Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana (Gramin).

With this sanction, the total receipt under the PMAY-G in this financial year for Tripura has now reached Rs 1264.19 crore.

Today’s release is reflection of excellent progress shown by our beneficiaries of PMAY (G).

Tripura has been adjudged the 'Best Performing State' in the north-eastern region and hilly states category under the Centre's flagship Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) scheme in 2020. FD JK
