Bus falls into ditch: several injured, eight critically

Agartala, May 29 (FD) In a tragic road mishap, at least 20 passengers were injured in Khowai on Saturday.

The incident took place on the road near Khowai town when a Khowai bound bus  fell into a ditch.

Among the injured persons were sent to GB hospital in Agartala as their conditions were stated to be critical.

It is learnt that the driver of the vehicle lost control over the wheels and the bus fell into the gorge.

Later, police and fire tenders rushed to the spot and rescued the injured and brought them to a nearby hospital.

12 passengers were stated to be undergoing treatment at Khowai hospital. FD PD
