BSF Nabs 15 Bangladeshis, 5 Indians in Border Operations

Agartala, Feb 28 (FD) In a significant development, 15 Bangladeshi nationals, including seven children along with five Indian touts were detained by Border Security Force (BSF) in three different operations, official sources said on Friday.
13 intruders from Bangladesh including three men and three women with seven children were arrested on Thursday from Indo-Bangla international border at Kailashahar in Unakoti district.
Acting on a tip-off, BSF laid a trap in the border areas and managed to nab the Bangladeshis hailing from Moulavibazar, Sunamganj, Netrakona and Barisal districts of the neighbouring country.
Sources in BSF said they also nabbed three Indian touts for facilitating the Bangladeshis to enter into Indian Territory.
In another raid on the same day, BSF nabbed two Bangladeshi nationals, while attempting to cross the border for returning to Bangladesh.
Meanwhile, BSF along with Government Railway Police (GRP) raided the Agartala police station and managed to nab two Indian smugglers, who were engaged in sending goods to the neighbouring country. FD JK
