#BoycottIPL trends on Twitter as India on brink of Asia Cup ouster

Almost a year after Team India crashed out of the T20 World Cup, the men-in-blue could do nothing more than staring at an ouster from the Asia Cup 2022 losing two consecutive Super Four matches in the mega tournament.
In a crucial match after losing to Pakistan Sunday night, Rohit Sharma-led India were Tuesday outsmarted by resurgent Sri Lanka, who registered a six-wicket victory in Dubai toying with the opponents inexperienced bowling lineup.
Ahead of the next T20 World Cup due to be played later this year, the cash-rich Indian Premier League (IPL) has been blamed by a section of netizens for Team Indias Asia Cup debacle.
One Omkar Upadhyay tweeted, #boycottipl India needs a wk like dhoni #RishabhPant #INDvSL #arshdeepsingh #Dhoni.
