In Cricket, Australia continued to dominate the ongoing second Test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against India at Adelaide Oval. The visitors were 128 for 5 at the draw of stumps on Day 2, still trailing the first-innings total of Hosts by 29 runs.
Rishabh Pant and Nitish Reddy were on the crease at the end of play on the second day of the pink-ball Test. Earlier, Australia were bundled out for 337 runs in their first innings, posting a lead of 157 runs. Travis Head slammed 140 runs in 141 balls. Mohammed Siraj and Jasprit Bumrah took four wickets each. Australia had resumed their innings at the overnight score of 86 for the loss of one wicket.
On day one yesterday, after opting to bat first, the visitors were all out for just 180 in their first innings. India are leading the five-match series 1-Nil after their convincing 295-run win against Australia in the first Test at Perth.
