Blood donation camps organized by various groups in response to CM’s appeal

Agartala, Mar 26 (FD) Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha has called upon the people of the state to come forward and donate blood to meet the increasing demand for blood in blood banks.
In response to his appeal, various clubs, social organizations, and other groups have organized blood donation camps across the state.
Dr. Saha inaugurated a blood donation camp organized by Belonia Togetherness at TRTC complex and congratulated the organizers and blood donors for their efforts.
“I am very happy that in response to my appeal, various clubs, social organizations and organizations across the state are coming forward to donate blood voluntarily,” Dr Saha said after inaugurating the blood donation camp on Sunday.
He also attended and inaugurated several other blood donation camps in different parts of the capital city.
Dr Saha inaugurated a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp organized by Rotaract Club of Agartala in collaboration with IMA-TSB.
The organizers of other blood donation camps inaugurated by Dr. Saha are –Lions Club, Town Baradowali Mandal and Bharatiya Janata Party 7- Ramnagar Mandal.
The chief minister emphasized that voluntary blood donation is the only option to meet the need for blood and that it means the donation of life.
He also listened to Prime Minister Modi's ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme at Netaji School Maidan along with Constituency Executives and others.
