Agartala, Jan 20(FD) Taking a swipe at the recent understanding of seat sharing between Congress and its arch rival CPI-M, the ruling BJP on Friday said in the last forty years those who burnt the party offices of each other and attack and retaliatory attacks had occurred, now they became friends.
“People know their tactics of making them fool and so they are not going to respond to their call against BJP”, Chief spokesperson of BJP, Subrata Chakrborty told a press conference here today.
Asserting that the saffron party wanted a free and fair poll in the state, he said the Congress was making false allegation that their bike rally was attacked by the BJP workers.
“It is rather Congress had attacked BJP party office at Majlishpur without any provocation and even they entered the poll bound area without permission of police, which is a gross violation of election norm. We condemn it”, he said.
BJP also filed complaint in two police stations against congress against their tactic of creating terror, he said.
Talking about the incident of murder at Surma in Dhalai district by unknown miscreants, he said someone was trying to point their finger at BJP, but the real incident is that it was not a political murder and no political party had any kind of involvement with the incident.
“There were attempts on his life earlier also. This was the third attack on him in which he was killed. So far, it was an incident related with transaction of money”, he said. FD SB
