BJP to start second term with more seats in Tripura: Pratima

Agartala, Jan 03 (FD) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will start its second term in Tripura after two months with more seats as the party will win the assembly elections with the blessings of women voters, Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Pratima Bhowmik said on Tuesday.
Addressing a rally organized by Mahila Morcha, women wing of BJP at Amarpur, she said, “I am optimistic from the excitement in Amarpur today, the BJP victory in more seats than in the past is only a matter of time.”
Bhoumik said, she is hopeful that the female voters of the state will caste their franchises to the party in the next elections.
She highlighted several developmental initiatives undertaken by BJP-led government during the last four and nine months of regime in the state.
She pointed out BJP’s initiative to increase Self-help groups in the state. In this context she mentioned the motto of BJP is to uplift and empowering women of the state.
“Our party leaders know that if the women and girls of the state are self-reliant then the country will be strong,” added Bhoumik.
She also criticized former Left government alleging their policies towards empowering women of the state. FD PD
