BJP to intensify campaign for general elections from the date of Prime Minister’s birth day

Agartala, Sept 10 (FD) Rejuvenated Tripura unit of the ruling BJP after a landslide victory in the byelections to Dhanpur and Baxanagar constituencies in Sepahijala district has decided initiate fortnight-long campaign for the next general elections and mark the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 17.
Party will organise programs like Blood Donation Camp, Health Camp, and conferences with the beneficiaries of various government programs like Ayusman during the period.
The party volunteers will collect Soil from booth level to state level which will ultimately dispatched to Delhi to construct an Amrit Uddan there.
A high-level meeting presided over by the state president Rajib Bhattacharjee held in the party office on Saturday has finalized the detailed program. The programs will be linked with the national level programs and will be targeted at the Lok Sabha election to be held next year. General Secretaries Papia Datta, Amit Rakshit, spokesman Subrata Chakraborty, and all other executive members were present.
The grand celebration of the PM's birthday has been named Namo Vikas Utsav and various programmes will be organised on the occasion.
Patriotic addresses will be delivered by noted social activists, following which over 500 volunteers clad in 'NaMo' T-shirts will engage in a cleanliness drive in the area, party sources said. FD JK
