BJP to choose candidates through party level voting

Agartala, Jan 21(FD) The BJP will choose its candidates for the upcoming Assembly elections through party-level voting. To that end, the process of selecting candidates based on the ground realities of each Assembly constituency began today.

The vote for this candidate selection procedure is done by both organizational and public party representatives. The ballot box must contain the names of three people of one's choosing. Sambit Patra, the party's North East region coordinator, would later receive the results of the assembly constituency. Additionally, he would deliver Delhi the sealed list of candidates. From Delhi, the final list will be released.

A BJP insider claims that Tipra Motha and the national leadership of the party are currently discussing seat adjustments. They might be given an alternative to Greater Tipraland's demand for Tipra Motha, according to the BJP source.

According to a Tipra Motha insider, everything will be decided by this evening, including which they will form an alliance with for the next assembly elections. FD SB
