BJP to celebrate the Republic Day as Constitution Day

Agartala, Jan 7 (FD) This Republic Day would be celebrated as also the constitution Day to mark the 75th anniversary of the drafting of the Indian constitution, Tripura Finance Minister Pranajit Sinha Roy said today.

He said on this day Baba Saheb Ambedkar drafted the constitution for nation building about 75 years ago.

He also mentioned that the BJP will organise a 15-day long training programme in all booths, blocks and districts beginning from Jan 11, which would end n Jan 25 next. 

He further mentioned that January 17 will be celebrated as the “Gaurav Diwas”, which would be celebrated in all block levels.

Sinha Roy also criticized the Congress for their misinterpretations about Baba Saheb. FD JK
