BJP strategizes for coming state legislative election

Agartala, Oct 21 (FD) An organizational meeting by BJP was held at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan to discuss the strategies for the 2023 Tripura state election on Friday.
With the elections at the corner, BJP has started its preparation in full gear. BJP has already appointed the former UP minister and MLA Mahendra Singh as in-charge and Rajya Sabha member and BJP vice president Samir Oraon as co- in charge of the Tripura state legislative election 2023.
The organizational meeting was held in the presence of Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, under the chairmanship of State BJP president Shri Rajib Bhattacharya. Among the other attendees present in the meeting were Deputy Chief Minister of Tripura Jishnu Dev Varma, Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment Pratima Bhoumik and important office bearers from central and state level of the party.
Pratima Bhoumik said that the organizational meeting was held to discuss the strategy of the 2023 state election under the suggestion of Central BJP appointed in charge Mahendra Singh. BJP state spokesperson and North East organization coordinator Dr. Sambit Patra also visited Tripura. She said that in this meeting every member will be assigned their particular work and commence working on the strategy adopted.
She further said that the meeting is held to strategize the spread at rural and urban level of the various deeds by the BJP state government starting from Swaccha Bharat Abhiyaan, Ujjala Yojana, roads and bridge construction, supply of 5 kg rice to every other deed that was adopted for citizens of the state.
She also mentions that 231535 farmers were awarded at the Krishak Samman, 4 days ago.
Bhoumik said that the party is aiming to form a report card on the works of the state government in the last five years and spread it across every committee level organization to reach greater mass. FD DM
