Agartala, Apr 7 (FD) President of the Tripura unit of ruling BJP, Rajib Bhattacharjee on Sunday termed the joining hands of the opposition Congress and CPI-M to defeat BJP in the parliamentary elections as an ‘unholy alliance’ and said that the people will reject them.
Addressing a press conference here, he said “The two parties were enemy of each other, but suddenly joined hands before the elections. It is an opportunistic and unholy alliance. People will reject them”.

He said the Tipra Motha has joined the BJP-led alliance in Tripura, as a result of which the people from Janajati community would vote for BJP candidates and rout the INDIA bloc in the Lok Sabha polls.
