BJP President Nabin and CM Himanta Biswa Sarma Express Confidence in Party’s Performance in West Bengal and Assam

BJP National President Nitin Nabin today held a roadshow in Baranagar, West Bengal. In a social media post that a sea of people reflected a clear resolve to end the TMC’s syndicate raj. He said the state is ready to reclaim its glory and decisively reject the politics of fear.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma today expressed strong confidence in the BJP electoral performance, claiming that the party has already secured significant momentum after the first phase of elections. He asserted that the BJP is on track to achieve major victories in both Assam and West Bengal, stating that public sentiment has shifted in favour of the party after the initial phase of polling.

Addressing a press conference, Sarma said, the first phase of elections has been completed. He said he can say with complete confidence that in the first phase itself, the BJP has won 110 seats. This time, BJP will win 100 seats in Assam. We will get 200 seats in West Bengal. Assam has a total of 126 Assembly seats and West Bengal has 294 seats.

Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Kunal Ghosh has claimed that the party has performed strongly in the first phase of polling in the West Bengal Assembly elections and asserted that the TMC is set to retain power in the state. He further expressed confidence that the party will secure a decisive mandate under the leadership of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.

Congress Rajya Sabha MPs, Pramod Tiwari and Akhilesh Prasad today claimed that the Congress will play a decisive role in forming the government in West Bengal after Assembly polls. The Congress is contesting the election in West Bengal on its own and without any alliance after 20 years. In this context, the leadership is targeting both the Trinamool and the BJP. According to Pramod Tiwari and Akhilesh Prasad Singh, the Congress is emerging as the third force in West Bengal.
