BJP miscreants allegedly attack a family of a Rickshaw pullar at Borjala

Agartala, Jan 14 (FD) A group of miscreants, allegedly belonging to the ruling BJP last night attacked a Rickshaw puller Srinath Ghosh, and his family at Borojola Kalyanpur Para at the outskirts of the capital city.

In the dead of night, BJP miscreants Sameer Namashudra, Ranjit Shil, and Raju Biswas set fire to the rickshaw of innocent rickshaw puller Srinath Ghosh. Hearing the commotion, Srinath Ghosh’s son, Prabir Ghosh, confronted the attackers, who then threatened him and hurled obscene insults at his mother and two sisters.

This morning, after filing an FIR at the Ramnagar Police Outpost, Prabir Ghosh was attacked again by BJP miscreants while returning home. Ranjit Shil, Raju Biswas, and Sameer Namashudra assaulted Prabir with a machete, inflicting a severe head injury. When his father, Srinath Ghosh, intervened, they struck him in the leg with the machete. The attackers also attempted to outrage the modesty of Srinath’s wife and daughters, injuring the girls on their heads and legs.

The police have already arrested the three accused individuals.

Prabir Ghosh alleged that Chandan Sarkar, the local BJP booth president, instigates such miscreants, enabling them to spread terror in the area.

Currently, Srinath Ghosh and his family are living in fear inside their home. FD SB JK
