BJP-led Tripura govt provides 24303 jobs so far, ICA minister

Agartala, Dec 29 (FD) Bharatiya Janata Party led Tripura government has given 24303 jobs in the state since elected to power in 2018, Information and Cultural Affairs Minister Sushanta Chowdhury said on Thursday.
Addressing a press conference at the Civil Secretariat he said, “The state’s finance department has approved altogether 41949 contracts including 17687 regular posts in various departments of the state out of which a total of 24033 posts have already been filled.”
He said, the recruitment process of the remaining posts have been in the pipeline.
Citing the data of the state’s finance department Chowdhury said, the department has approved a total 17687 regular posts, 1329 posts in die in harness category, 8013 contractual posts, 5879 posts through outsourcing.
Chowdhury taking a dig at the CPIM rule in the state from 2013 to 2017 said, the communist party has given only 13657 jobs during their period of five years till 2017 while the BJP government has already been given 24033 jobs in the state.
The ICA minister said, the process of recruiting in remaining posts is in the pipeline.
He said, the process of recruiting about five thousand youths in GRBT posts will be completed soon.
Besides, the state government will recruit around six thousand special executives, one thousand police and the process will be completed soon. FD PD
