BJP launches Dr. Ambedkar Samman Abhiyan across Tripura state

Agartala, April 10 (FD) To mark the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has launched the "Samvidhan Rachayita Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Ji Samman Abhiyan" campaign. This campaign will be observed across Tripura from April 13 to April 25, with a series of programmes celebrating the life and contributions of Dr. Ambedkar, the principal architect of the Indian Constitution.

In preparation, a state-level workshop was organized on Thursday at the BJP State Headquarters in Agartala. The session was attended by Dr. Bhola Singh, National General Secretary of the BJP SC Morcha and Member of Parliament. The meeting was presided over by Tripura BJP State President Shri Rajib Bhattacharjee.

Key figures such as State General Secretary Shri Bhagaban Das and SC Morcha State President Shri Arvind Das participated in the first session. The second session featured State Vice President Shri Bimal Chakma, Mahila Morcha President Sushri Papia Datta, and other senior party members.

Tripura State Cooperative Consumer Federation Chairman Shri Tutan Das concluded the event with a vote of thanks.

The BJP SC Morcha also announced that a series of state-wide programmes would commence from April 12, culminating in celebrations on April 14, the birth anniversary of Dr. Ambedkar, a visionary jurist, economist, and social reformer who continues to inspire generations across India. FD SB
