BJP condemns post-poll violence in Tripura, criticizes Left Front-Congress for that, silent about Tipra Motha

Agartala, Mar 05 (FD) Ruling BJP on Sunday condemned the incidents of post-poll violence allegedly resorted by the opposition Left Front and Congress and urged the administration to take steps to contain it.
Janajati Morcha, the tribal wing of Bharatiya Janata Party, which has come to power in Tripura for a second consecutive term, on Sunday criticized the Left Front and Congress alliance allegedly for spreading violence in the state since the state assembly election results were declared on Thursday last.
“CPIM and Congress are trying to create chaos and communal riots across the state. This should be stopped. We all want to live peacefully,” Janajati Morcha Tripura Pradesh president and MLA Bikash Debbarma said in a press conference.
Expressing concern over the increasing number in the incidents of post poll violence in the state, Debbarma appealed to stop the incidents of violence and maintain peace.
He also thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP president JP Nadda and other leaders for their support during the election process in the state.
When asked about the future plans for the development of the Janajati people of the state, the Janjati Morcha Pradesh president said that for the development of the Janajati people, several developmental programs are under going in the hilly areas since 2018 in mission mode and will continue for the next five years.
Subrata Chakraborty, Chief spokespersons of BJP Tripura Pradesh, also condemned the incidents of post-poll violence in the state and said those who are involved in the incidents would be identified soon and punished under law. FD PD JK
