BJP candidate and member of Tripura’s royal family, Kriti Singh Debbarma files nomination today

Agartala, Mar 28 (FD) BJP-nominated candidate, Kriti Singh Devbarma, who is the elder sister of royal scion and founder of Tipra Motha on Thursday, submitted her nomination for the East Tripura (ST) reserve constituency at Ambassa in Dhalai district.
Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha, Pradesh BJP State President Rajib Bhattacharya, Pradyut Kishore Devbarma, Minister Tinku Roy, Minister Sudhanshu Das were present during the submission of the nomination at the office of the District Magistrate, Saju Waheed, who is also the Returning officer of the constituency.
Addressing a huge gathering of the leaders, activists and supporters of the ruling BJP and two of its’ allies, Tipra Motha and IPFT Saha said the presence of people in huge number from all communities showed that BJP candidate would win in huge margin.
“We want to build up Ek Tripura, shrestha Tripura, which is possible when the people of all communities are united. If janajati (Tribal) people are not developed Tripura cannot also be developed. Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has special attention for development of the entire North-East region”, Saha said.
He also appealed to the activists of BJP and their allies to reach out to every house hold with the message that Modi is the guarantee of all-round development of Tripura.
A huge procession with colourful flags and festoons moved through the Ambassa town and then the BJP candidate submitted her nomination to the Returning Officer.
Elections for the East Tripura constituency would be held on April 26. FD JK
