Biplab Deb survived a road accident on Delhi-Chandigarh highway

Agartala, Feb 20 (FD) Former Chief Minister and incumbent MP of Rajyasabha from Tripura Biplab Deb narrowly survived a road accident on the Delhi-Chandigarh highway, near Panipat, sources close to him said.

Deb, who is also the Pravari of Haryana, was suddenly hit by a speeding truck and the car tumbled down.

People moving near the area rushed to the spot and rescued Deb and his driver from the car and admitted him to a local hospital, where he had undergone minor treatment and released.
