Biplab Deb demand additional fund of Rs.17.61 crore for infrastructure development of Tripureswari temple

Agartala, July 22 (FD) The MP from West Tripura constituency raised the demand for additional grants in the parliament for building new infrastructure at the holy site of Mata Tripureswari temple at Udaipur in Gomati district.

Tripureswari temple is considered one of the 51 shaktipeeths in the country and a holy shrine of the Hindus.

The central Government had earlier sanctioned Rs.37.8 crore, but the MP has asked for additional 17.61 crore to the ministry of Tourism. FD JK
