Big tree falls in storm at MBB airport, many motorcycles damaged

Agartala, April 06 (FD) In the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday, a massive deciduous tree fell, causing severe rain and thunderstorms that caused significant damage to the 15-20 motorbikes that were parked in the parking zone of the MBB Airport as the monsoon season approached.
Among them, two bikes and a scooty were totally damaged, and the remaining bikes and scooty were just slightly damaged. After leaving the airport building, bike riders saw that a tree had fallen on top of their scootys and bikes. Rescue efforts, however, started.
Some sort of compensation has been requested, even though the extent of the harm is unknown. Most of the bikes belonged to airport employees. Following the incident, anger began to build among the airport staff. They asserted that they would be losing money today if they parked their motorcycles in instead of cash.
Even as the parking zone manager and airport police rushed to the spot after the incident, no composition has been assured so far, the airport staff who faced loss alleged. FD SB JK
