Bengaluru FC secures playoff spot with 1-0 win over Chennaiyin FC in ISL 2024-25

In the Indian Super League (ISL) Football, Bengaluru FC edged past Chennaiyin FC 1-NIL at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru last night. With this victory, the hosts secured a spot in the ISL 2024-25 playoffs.

Rahul Bheke’s lone goal sealed the win, strengthening Bengaluru’s hold on third place with 37 points. Meanwhile, Chennaiyin FC, with 24 points from 22 games, have been eliminated from playoff contention.

In today’s fixture, East Bengal FC will face Hyderabad FC at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata. East Bengal currently sits eighth in the standings, while Hyderabad remains at 12th position.
