Kolkata/UNI: Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari on Wednesday charged Chief Ministers of West Bengal and Delhi, Mamata Banerjee and Arvind Kejriwal respectively, with unethically using the state secretariat Nabanna on Tuesday for hatching political conspiracies against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Taking to Twitter, Adhikari said, Nabanna; the State Secretariat of WB, was used unethically by the Regional TMC Party leader Smt. Mamata Banerjee @AamAadmiParty leader Shri @ArvindKejriwal Ji yesterday, for hatching political conspiracies against the Honble PM Shri @narendramodi Ji.
Whats disturbing is that the Chief Secretary of WB; Dr. Hari Krishna Dwivedi (IAS) was present in such a political meeting, he added.
The critics or detractors who cant wait to offer your rebuttals; stating whats wrong if 2/3 CMs meet in the State Secretariat, my humble question to you:-If it was a meeting between the CMs:-# What was the Order of Business? the BJP MLA from Nandigram asked.
#Was any Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between the WB Govt the Delhi Govt? Such as:- a) The Delhi Govt is going to help the WB Govt in adapting their Liquor Policy? Or...b) The WB Education Dept will train the Education Dept of Delhi, how to conduct Teacher Recruitment process fairly honestly? Adhikari further asked.
On Tuesday Banerjee said, Today, I met Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal, Chief Minister of Punjab Bhagwant Mann, Raghav Chadda, Sanjay Singh and Atishi Marlena at Nabanna. It was a pleasure to discuss significant matters with them and express views on a range of crucial issues.
The meeting provided a platform to exchange ideas, explore the possibilities of taking our nation to greater heights, and find ways to serve people with more dedication and commitment. We are with all the opposition parties in this fight. Its time to save our democracy.
She expressed her sincere gratitude for their gracious presence and invaluable time and said, May we continue to engage in constructive dialogues on fostering progress and the overall growth and development of the nation.
