Anusmita, student of Shishu Bihar School fully recovered now

Agartala, Aug 18: Anusmita Dutta, a girl student of Class-I of Shishu Bihar School here, who was seriously injured in a road accident on her way back from school and has now fully recovered after being treated at the Neuro Department of GBP Hospital, officials said.

Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha in a social media post, hailed all concerned doctors, nursing staff, physiotherapists, paediatrics department, anesthesiology department and radiology department including renowned neurosurgeon Dr. Sidda Reddy Ankireddypally for the successful treatment taking the extreme challenge.

Dr Saha expressed hope that Anusmita will go to school again with old enthusiasm and prayed for her future.

Anusmita was first admitted to IGM Hospital with serious injuries after being crushed by a speeding TomTom on July 22 last. She was crossing the road holding her mother’s hand after school.

She was later referred to GB Hospital and was treated in the ICU there for several days.
