Amit Shah Sets 1 Crore Membership Target for BJP in West Bengal

Senior BJP leader and Union Minister, Amit Shah attended a party programme at Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre EZCC at Salt Lake City of Kolkata on Sunday. Mr. Shah appealed to the leaders and workers of BJP to increase the membership of the party. He has fixed a target of 1 crore members for West Bengal.
Amit Shah appealed to the people of West Bengal to change the government of the state in the 2026 assembly election. He said, if BJP wins the election, then illegal infiltration through Bangladesh border and corruption in the state will end.
Mr Shah said, during the UPA rule the West Bengal government had received only 15 thousand crore rupees under the MGNREGA scheme but NDA government in the centre has disbursed 54 thousand crore rupees till now.
Shah said, if BJP wins the assembly election in 2026, various central schemes including Ayushman Bharat will be implemented in West Bengal. He added that at present these schemes have been stalled by the current state government.
