Amit Shah and Jyotiraditya Scindia arrive here to attend the 72th Plenary Session of NEC

Agartala, Dec 20 (FD) Union Home Minister Amit Shah and the DoNER Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia arrived here today to attend the 72th conference of the North Eastern Council on Friday by a plane of the Indian Air Force.

He was welcomed at the Maharaja Bir Bikram airport by the Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha and three MPs from Tripura Rajib Bhattacharya (Rajyasabha), former Chief Minister and MP from West Tripura, Biplab Deb and MP from East Tripura, Kriti Devi Debbarman.

Chief Minister in a Face Book post said, “Welcomed Hon’ble Union Minister of Home Affairs , Shri Amit Shah Ji at MBB Airport, Agartala.

Hon’ble HM will be chairing the 72nd plenary session of North East Council, organised by Ministry of DoNER at Prajna Bhavan, Agartala”.

Union Minister for DoNER, Jyotiraditya Scindia will also attend the plenary session along with the all the Governors and CMs of the north eastern region. When the session would review the last year’s development programmes will also make a future roadmap of the next year. 

Shah also met his party colleagues in a hotel and visited the Agartala Land Port for the virtual inauguratin of the of the Border Guard Forces (BGF) accommodation. FD JK
