Agartala, Apr 8 (FD) The Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) candidates of Tripura have sought intervention of Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha alleging practice of ‘irregularities’ in the TET-I and TET-II question papers by the Teachers’ Recruitment Board of Tripura (TRBT).
Expressing their concern over ‘irregularities’ in the TET-I and TET-II question papers during a press conference at Agartala Press Club on Friday, the TET candidates alleged that there were several mistakes in spellings of the question papers and they brought the matter to the attention of TRBT several times following the exams held on December 29 and 30 last.
According to them, they challenged 22 questions of the TET-I examination and 31 questions of TET-II examination, but the TRBT on Thursday last provided a star mark to only one question out of 22 of TET-I and 4 out of 31 challenged questions of TET-II examination.
The TET candidates alleged that despite there being a series of irregularities with the question papers, the TRBT acted negligence on those irregularities while replying to the challenges.
The TET candidates appealed to the Chief Minister and urged him to look into the matter so as to restrict further irregularities. FD PD
