Agartala Press Club extends financial aid to Flood-affected members

Agartala, Aug 27 (FD) In a gesture of goodwill, the Agartala Press Club has provided financial assistance to ten journalists and two employees who were severely impacted by the recent floods in Tripura. Roma Kanta De, the secretary of the Press Club, announced this initiative, noting that the flood had caused significant damage, including waterlogging in the homes of the affected members.

After gathering the necessary information, the Press Club decided to extend financial support to help those in need. The aid was distributed in a simple ceremony yesterday, benefitting a total of twelve individuals. The gesture was appreciated by the recipients, who expressed their gratitude for the timely support during this challenging period.
