Agartala Mayor assures prompt action to address issues at Netaji Subhash Vidyaniketan"

Agartala, July 19 (FD) In response to the various challenges faced by Netaji Subhash Vidyaniketan due to years of neglect, the School Management Committee sought intervention from Agartala Municipal Corporation's Mayor, Deepak Majumder.

Acting swiftly, Mayor Majumder, along with Ratna Datta, Dr. Shailesh Kumar Yadav, and other officials, conducted a thorough inspection of the school premises today.

Addressing the media in a press conference following the inspection, Mayor Majumder acknowledged the troubling conditions in which the school's midday meals were being prepared, citing concerns over unsanitary surroundings.

He also raised concerns about the absence of a boundary wall behind the school and the lack of proper drainage systems, leading to the seepage of dirty water from neighboring houses onto the school property. 

Assuring both the public and the school community, Mayor Majumder pledged immediate action to tackle these issues. The Agartala Municipal Corporation plans to construct proper drains and a boundary wall for the school at the earliest, signaling positive change and development for Netaji Subhash Vidyaniketan's infrastructure and facilities.
