Actress Prunella Scales, Beloved for Fawlty Towers Role, Passes Away

British actress Prunella Scales, best known as Sybil Fawlty in the classic sitcom Fawlty Towers, has died peacefully at home in London aged 93, her family said.

She had lived with vascular dementia since 2013 and was retired due to this from her 70-year-long career. Her co-star John Cleese called her a wonderful comic actress, praising her perfect performances.
