A student of Agartala NIT dies of road accident

Agartala, Jan 3 (FD) In a tragic incident a student of NIT, Agartala died on the spot in the by-pass of the Bishalgarh town in Sipahijala district, when a truck hit his bike from behind.
The incident occurred yesterday and the deceased was identified as Aradhya Acharjee (24), who was studying M Tech and a famous guitarist.
He was returning to Agartala by his own motor bike from a trip to Dumbur. The incident occurred at 11 AM. When the truck collided with his bike he flew off the bike and fell on the road which caused injuries on the back side of his head.
When the trucker managed to give a slip and the police and fire brigade personnel shifted him to the Bishalgarh hospital, where he was announced to be brought dead.
When Aradhya’s father Alakesh Acharya, a resident of the Lake Chowmuhani here rushed to the hospital and broke down. He was the only son and his mother had died two years ago.
He was cremated at the Battala crematorium today. FD JK
