50 pc discount on TRTC run bus fares for students and divyagyans: TRTC chairman

Agartala, Jan 10 (FD) Chairman of Tripura Road Transport Corporation (TRTC)Abhijit Deb has announced that the Board of Directors of TRTC has decided to provide 50 percent discount on ticket fares in bus services operated by TRTC for students and divyagyans.
Announcing the decision in a press conference said on Tuesday, Deb said, the annual meeting of the board of TRTC was held on December 30 last where the Board of Directors held discussed on several important topics and took several decisions including the decision of discount.
Deb has appealed the students and divyagyans to avail this service which will be effective from next January 15 next.
Announcing other decisions, he said that in accordance with the state government’s announced of providing 12 percent DA for the employees, the TRTC also approved 12 percent DA for its employees, which will be effective from January 1, 2023.
He also announced that the board has decided to provide salary for earned leave to the TRTC employees in cash at the time of retirement. 
Besides, the board also decided to run another bus from GB Hospital to Kasbeswari Kali temple in Kamalasagar under Sepahijala district, the TRTC chairman added. TRTC MD Sajal Biswas was also present in the press conference. FD PD
