Agartala, Jan 9 (FD): Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma today said that the 25-years rule of CPI-M was marred by violence, murder, rape and terror let loose by the cadres, but in the last five years BJP has established rule of law, development and people’s right.
Addressing a public gathering at Killa in Gomati district of the poll bound state, Sharma said, what people witnessed during the 25-year old Marxist regime was violence, murder, rape and terror let loose by the cadres, but after the BJP government came to power five years ago had established rule of law, development and the rights of people.
“Communist party's red flag has been created by exploitation and sucking the blood of poor people in Tripura,” he said.
He said, CPI-M was wiped out from the country due to their deeds.
“Where is CPI-M now? They were wiped out from Karnataka, Maharastra, Assam Nagaland. Nowhere you would find their existence as people has rejected them for their deeds”, Sharma said.
He claimed that after the double engine government was set up in Tripura, the state was going ahead in terms of developments.
“Many roads were constructed, dental college, law college and a forensic university was established, social allowances for poor people were increased and the government employees recently given 20% DA”, he said.
Sharma claimed that Tripura under BJP rule has emerged as the best developing state in the entire north eastern region. FD PD JK
