Agartala, Nov 22 (FD) Altogether 175 youths of Tripura received appointment letters during 'Rozgar Mela', a recruitment drive launched by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi via Video Conferencing on Tuesday. 
Total 71,056 newly inducted appointees from all across the country received appointment letters to Join various ministries/departments of the Government of India at various levels, including Group-A (Gazetted), Group-B, and Group-C, which included CAPF.
The Tripura unit of Border Security Force (BSF) organized the 'Rozgar Mela' at its headquarters in Salbagan here on Tuesday morning. Altogether 175 youths of the state received appointment letters today.
Pratima Bhowmik, Minister of state for Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India graced the programme as chief guest.
Interacting with the media, Bhowmik said, “This is a great opportunity given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, for the youth of the state to build their future through their hard work and patience.”
She congratulated all the new appointees of the state and expressed hope that all will work together to achieve the goal of making India an armed, capa
ble and self-reliant by 2047 on the occasion of celebrating 100 years of independence.
Along with the Union Minister, Sumit Sharan, IG of BSF Frontier HQ Tripura and other senior officers of CAPF also distributed appointments to the selected candidates.
During the Rozgar Mela, the Prime Minister interacted with new appointees and guardians via Video Conferencing. The candidates showed great enthusiasm and zeal after the interaction with the Prime Minister of India. FD PD JK
