16th Hockey India Sub Junior Women National Championship 2026 commences tomorrow in Ranchi, Jharkhand

The 16th Hockey India Sub Junior Women National Championship 2026 will commence tomorrow in Ranchi, Jharkhand, and continue until April 12. The tournament will follow a division-based format introduced by Hockey India to enhance competition and player development. Division ‘A’ features 12 teams divided into four pools, with knockout matches beginning on April 9 and the final scheduled for April 12.

Divisions ‘B’ and ‘C’ will be played in league formats from April 1 to April 6 and from April 1 to April 4, respectively. All matches will be held at the Marang Gomke Jaipal Singh Astroturf Hockey Stadium.

Teams will earn three points for a win, one for a draw, and none for a loss, with tied knockout matches in Division ‘A’ to be decided by shoot-outs as per FIH rules.
