12 foreigners including eight Rohingyas held at Agartala railway station

Agartala, Feb 05(FD) Railway Protection Force (RPF) on Sunday nabbed 12 persons included eight Rohingyas and four Bangladeshi citizens from Agartala railway station for entering in the Indian Territory illegally.

Out of the 12 persons six are male and six are female (including four kids, three male and one female).

Police said, one Rohingya person, who was based in Hyderabad was working as a tout, who is engaged in illegally bringing the Rohingyas from Bangladesh to Indian territory and arrange their jobs in different cities of the country in exchange of money.

Police said the person was also nabbed in connection with illegal entry of the Rohingyas.

An FIR was registered against the nabbed persons, who would be placed before a local court tomorrow. FD PD JK
